This little Fenton hen on nest dish was made in a beautiful turquoise blue satin glass color in about 1974-6. The hen is 5 3/8" long at the top of the base. The Fenton mark is in the center of the bottom, with no numbers, meaning that it was made in the 1970s.
There is a small chip 1/4" by 1/16" on the tip of the tail. Because this is satin glass, the chip is visible because it is shiny. Otherwise it wouldn't be noticeable. There also is a hidden, tiny, internal crack 1/8" long, in the side of the tail. It cannot be felt, and can only be seen as a refractive aread, when backlit at just the right angle. There is no other damage.
